Toilet cistern asbestos, Shires Lynx — Toilet cisterns of this style, can contain asbestos.

Asbestos floor tiles — Thermoplastic floor tiles, such as shown above, can contain asbestos. Asbestos was also used in the adhesive glue which was used to fit them.

Asbestos insulation board (AIB) to Boiler Room columns — Asbestos insulating board (AIB) column claddings/ liners. Found in the Plant Room of a Nottinghamshire Leisure Centre

Asbestos insulation board (AIB) soffit — Asbestos insulating board (AIB) soffit. Also very commonly found and usually either AIB or asbestos cement

Asbestos insulation board (AIB) skylight liner — Asbestos insulating board (AIB) as a skylight liner. Commonly found in office buildings, colleges, schools etc. of the CLASP era.

Asbestos insulation board (AIB) pipework boxing — The boxing around the pipework, right-hand-side of toilet, is asbestos insulating board (AIB). AIB was often used instead of timber or plasterboard during the 1960’s- mid 1980’s
